                             Lewis Blumentritt
   ROWENA — Lewis G. Blumentritt, 102, of Midland, trucking business
   operator, died Monday, Jan. 3, 2000, at Midland Memorial Hospital and
                              Medical Center.
     Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Rowena Protestant
               Cemetery. Arrangements by Ellis Funeral Home.
    He was born in Plugerville and was a longtime resident of Iraan. He
                               was Methodist.
      SURVIVORS: Sons, James L. Blumentritt, of Tiki Island and Joe E.
   Blumentritt, of Midland; brothers, George L. Blumentritt and Marvin V.
   Blumentritt of San Angelo; sister, Augusta Kriegel, of San Angelo; and
                            two granddaughters.
                                      
                               Freddy Munsell
    MIDLAND — Freddy Munsell, 60, of Odessa, died Tuesday, Jan. 4,
                         2000, at a local hospital.
    Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Ellis Funeral Home with the
     Rev. Jimmy Braswell and Jim Fields officiating. Burial will be at
           Fairview Cemetery. Arrangements by Ellis Funeral Home.
      He was born in Midland. He was an Army veteran. He was Baptist.
   SURVIVORS: Wife, Naomi Jo Munsell, of Odessa; son, Virgil Joe Munsell,
    of Choctaw, Okla.; brothers, James Gale Munsell, of Carlton, Kenneth
     Munsell, of Andrews and Bobby Munsell, of Knox City; sister, Judy
             Littleton, of Stephenville; and two grandchildren.
                                      
                               Helen Sifford
        ODESSA — Helen Lenore Sifford, 69, of Odessa, a retired
          bookkeeper, died Monday, Jan. 3, 2000, at her residence.
    Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Ector County Cemetery
   with the Rev. Alton Towery officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly
                               Funeral Home.
    She was born in Big Spring and moved to Odessa in 1935. She Baptist.
    SURVIVORS: Daughter, Dyanna Leavelle, of Odessa; two grandchildren;
                        and 12 great-grandchildren.
                                      
                              Alvis Niedecken
   MIDLAND — Alvis Niedecken, 75, of Midland, died Tuesday, Jan. 4,
                          2000, at his residence.
               Services are pending with Ellis Funeral Home.
                                      
                               Lorenzo Zuniga
     ODESSA — Lorenzo Zuniga, 74, of Odessa, died Tuesday, Jan. 4,
                              2000, in Odessa.
              Services are pending with Martinez Funeral Home.
