Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Wright Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with Max Zamorano officiating. Burial will be at Snyder Cemetery. Arrangements by Wright Memorial Funeral Home. She was born in Presidio and was a longtime resident of Snyder. She was a member of the Church of Christ. SURVIVORS: Sons, Ramon J. Tavarez and Roy J. Tavarez, both of Snyder; daughters, Josephine T. Thelma Holladay FORT STOCKTON — Thelma Nadine Holladay, 74, a homemaker, died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2000, at her residence. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with David Brockman officiating. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home. She was born in Barry County, Mo., and was a resident of Fort Stockton. She was a member of the Church of Christ. SURVIVORS: Daughters, Mary C. Lee of Denison, Susan J. Valenzuela of Andrews and Gail Brayton of Duncanville; sons, Frank L. VonVolkinburg of Fort Stockton, Tommy L. Holladay of North Voltch and Eddie Holladay of Gardendale; sister, Ruth Roush of Amburg, Wis.; and four grandchildren. James Robinson ABILENE — James Donald Robinson, 57, of Hobbs, N.M., died Monday, Jan. 10, 2000, in Abilene. A private family memorial will be held at a later date. He was born in Abilene and had lived in Hobbs, N.M., since 1972. He was a minister for the Church of Christ in Ketchikan, Alaska, and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. He also taught school, farmed and owned a maintenance company. SURVIVORS: Sons, Thomas Harris and Rhett Lowell Robinson, both of Anchorage, Alaska; a daughter, Stephanie Robyn Hamilton of Abilene; sisters, Gealene Robinson Anstead Bacon of Lansing, Mich., and Doris Gene "Dee" Robinson of Odessa; and numerous grandchildren. Floyd Taylor EUNICE, N.M. — Floyd Taylor, 85, a retired X-ray inspector for Thayer Inspection and Basin Industrial X-Ray, died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2000, at his residence. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Fifth Street Baptist Church of Jal, N.M., with the Rev. Elio Barrios officiating. Burial will be at Jal Cemetery. Arrangements by Calvary Funeral Home. He was born in Blue Jacket, Okla., and was a resident of Bennett. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a sergeant in New Guinea and the Philippine Islands. SURVIVORS: Wife, Velma Taylor of Bennett; son, Floyd "Butch" Taylor of Katy, Texas; daughter, April Dawn Thomas of Jal; a brother, Clyde Taylor of Miami, Okla.; and three grandchildren. Jack Vanderburg ODESSA — Jack Woodrow Vanderburg, 82, a carpenter, died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2000, at the Parks Methodist Retirement Center in Odessa. Masonic graveside services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. He was born in Cooper and came to Odessa after serving in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a Baptist. SURVIVORS: Wife, Robbie Jo Vanderburg of Odessa; sons, Danny Vanderburg and Keith Vanderburg, both of Odessa; daughters, Ann Davis and Jan Munn of Odessa; brother, Harry Vanderburg of Odessa; sisters, Hattie Wilson and Charlene Cooper, both of Odessa, and Retha Coleman of Gun Barrel City; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Amos Ward GRAHAM — Amos L. "Peavy" Ward, 74, a retired pumper for E and H Drilling, died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2000, at a Breckenridge hospital. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Pioneer Cemetery with the Rev. Rex Boggs officiating. Arrangements by Morrison Funeral Home. He was born in Gorman and was a resident of Breckenridge. He was a Baptist. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
