    ODESSA — Zelphia Brantley, 81, of Odessa died Saturday, January
                   15, 2000, at Medical Center Hospital.
    Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God
         with the Rev. Norman R. Owens officiating. Arrangements by
                        Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
        She was born in Allendale, Mo., and moved to Odessa in 1935.
       SURVIVORS: Daughter, Karen Patterson of Clay City, Mo.; three
               grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
                                      
                               Elvira Estrada
      MARFA — Elvira Sanchez Estrada, 80, of El Paso, formerly of
              Marfa, died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2000, in El Paso.
      Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary’s Catholic
    Church. Burial will follow in Merced Cemetery. Rosary will be said 7
       p.m. today at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Arrangements by
                           Memorial Funeral Home.
          She was born in El Paso and lived in Marfa for 20 years.
    SURVIVORS: Daughter, Mary Lou Moguel of El Paso; sisters, Margarita
   Dominguez and Agueda Sanchez, both of Odessa, Ysidora Kirtley and Eva
      Sanchez, both of Silver City, N.M., Olivina Sanchez of El Paso;
      brothers, Jose Sanchez of Van Horn and Elias Sanchez of Marfa; 3
                grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
                                      
                              Debbie Jacobson
    IRVING — Debbie Jacobson, 53, of Irving died Thursday, Jan. 13,
                          2000, in Framers Branch.
    Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Andrews North Cemetery
    with the Rev. Ted Short officiating. Arrangements by McNett Funeral
                                   Home.
                     She was born in Long Beach, Calif.
      SURVIVORS: Sons, James Jacobson of Ft. Worth, David Jacobson of
    Wichita Falls, Douglas Jacobson of Irving; daughter, Jackie Jacobson
     of Irving; father and stepmother, Otis and Jan Gryder of Andrews;
      brother, Guy Gryder of Snyder; sister, Pamela Farmer of Odessa,
     Calif.; step-brother, Kelly Redding of Los Angeles, Calif.; and 6
                               grandchildren.
                                      
                               Hargus Liddell
   COLUMBUS, Ohio — Hargus Ann Liddell, 71, of Odessa died Thursday,
                 Jan. 13, 2000, at Medical Center Hospital.
    Graveside services will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Columbus,
          Ohio. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
       She was born in Prestonburg, Ky., and moved to Odessa in 1980.
   SURVIVORS: Husband, Gwyn Liddell of Odessa; daughter, Sandra Hughes of
   Coco Beach, Fla., Linda Wagner of Columbus, Ohio, Patricia Brumley of
     Columbus, Ohio; son, Thomas Brumley II of Columbus, Ohio; sister,
                       Helen Fatig of Columbus, Ohio.
                                      
                              Jerry Massengale
   ODESSA — Jerry Massengale, 62, of Odessa died Saturday, Jan. 15,
                          2000, at his residence.
    Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Sunset Memorial Gardens
    with the Rev. Terry Pugh officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly
                               Funeral Home.
            He was born in Portales, N.M., and was Pentecostal.
    SURVIVORS: Wife, Mary Massengale of Odessa; sons, Patrick Massengale
      of Albuquerque and Michael Massengale of Lubbock; brother, Mark
     Massengale; sister, Priscilla Smith of Odessa; and one grandchild.
