Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Martin’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Armo Bentley officiating. Burial will be at Holly Hills Memorial Park. Arrangements by Martin’s Funeral Home. He was born in Haskell, Okla. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was Baptist. SURVIVORS: Wife, Bonnie J. Allen of Tolar; sons, John J. Allen of Granbury and Terry L. Allen of Alvin; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Betty Brooks ODESSA — Betty Brooks, 75, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2000, at Medical Center Hospital. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Hubbard-Kelly Chapel with the Rev. Weldon Richardson officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. She was born in Chickasha, Okla., and moved to Odessa in 1950 from Borger. She was Baptist. SURVIVORS: Sons, Mike Brooks of Odessa and Tony Brooks of West Palm Beach, Fla.; brother, Carl Carter of Carlsbad, Texas; sister, Jimmie Miner of Odessa; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Betty Bush GONZALES — Betty Jean Bush, 70, of Hewitt, a homemaker, died Friday, Feb. 25, 2000, at her residence. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Gonzales Memorial Park. Arrangements by Wilkirson-Hatch Funeral Home. She was born in Cuero and had been a resident of Hewitt for 13 years. She was Baptist. Pearson of Breham; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. W.W. Pollard ANDREWS — W.W. "Pete" Pollard, 92, of Seminole died Friday, Feb. 25, 2000, at Seminole Memorial Hospital. Vinson Runyon MONAHANS — Vinson Runyon, 90, of Monahans, a retired oilfield pumper, died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2000, at Memorial Hospital & Medical Center in Midland. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Third & Dwight Church of Christ with Greg Holly officiating. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements by Hareky Funeral Home. He was born in Auglaize County, Ohio, and had lived in Monahans since 1945. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
