Ruth Chitwood MONAHANS — Ruth Chitwood, 80, of Monahans, a homemaker, died Monday, Feb. 28, 2000, at Medical Center Hospital. Maxine Hart ANDREWS — Maxine Hart, 76, of Andrews, a homemaker, died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2000, at her residence. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today at Andrews West Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Terry officiating. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home. She was born in Wichita, Kan., and moved to Andrews in 1950 from Sapulpa, Okla. She was a Methodist. Anton Hess ALPINE — Anton "Tony" Hess, 95, of Alpine, a retired rancher, died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2000, at his residence. Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Friendship Baptist Church with the Rev. Juan Ponce officiating. Burial will be at Elm Grove Cemetery. Arrangements by Geeslin Funeral Home. He was born in Switzerland and had been a resident of Alpine for 65 years.
