                             Arthur Powell Sr.
   ODESSA — Arthur Powell Sr., 58, of Odessa, a retired landscaper,
          died Friday, Feb. 25, 2000, at Medical Center Hospital.
    Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Rose of Sharon Baptist Church
     with the Rev. J.W. Hanson officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill
              Cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
    He was born in Smithville and was a lifelong resident of Odessa. He
                                was Baptist.
   SURVIVORS: Sons, Laron Powell of Colorado City, Arthur Lee Powell Jr.
    of Beeville, Carl Addonis Powell of Amarillo, Bertrum Powell of San
   Antonio and Dustin Powell of Odessa; daughter, Brenda Norris of Llano;
    mother, Julia Powell of Odessa; brother, John Powell Jr. of Odessa;
    sisters, Rose Shepard and Vivian Ferguson, both of Odessa; and eight
                               grandchildren.
                                      
                              Lawrence Rhodes
     ODESSA — Lawrence E. "Dusty" Rhodes, 78, of Odessa, a retired
   employee of Lee Drilling Company and Oilwell Division U.S. Steel, died
       Tuesday, Feb. 29, 2000, at Parks Methodist Retirement Village.
     Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home
     Chapelwith the Rev. Charles Johnson officiating. Burial will be at
    Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
      He was born in Perryton. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
     SURVIVORS: Wife, Mary Rhodes of Odessa; sons, Lawrence Rhodes and
    Jimmy Rhodes, both of Midland, and Tommy Rhodes of Odessa; daughter,
   Mary Lou Kiphart of Odessa; brother, Gilbert Rhodes of Shidler, Okla.;
    sisters, Maudie Justice of Odessa, Texie Hillyer of Salem, Ore., and
            Edith Lee of Calera, Okla.; and three grandchildren.
                                      
                               Joseph Dunagan
     IRAAN — Joseph "Dusty" Dunagan, 69, of Iraan died Wednesday,
          March 1, 2000, at Memorial Hospital and Medical Center.
      Services are pending with Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home of Iraan.
                                      
                               David Johnson
    ODESSA — David Johnson, 29, of Odessa died Wednesday, March 1,
                          2000, at his residence.
   Services are pending with Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.
                                      
                               Antonio Moreno
   TEMPLE — Antonio Jose Moreno, 61, of Odessa died Wednesday, March
                    1, 2000, at Scott & White Hospital.
