He was born in Big Spring and has been a longtime resident of Odessa. He was an Army veteran. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Agnes Catholic Church with the Rev. David Herrera officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Sunday at Fort Stockton Funeral Home. Shastid, 49, of Golden Valley, Ariz., a truck driver, died Tuesday, March 7, 2000, in Kingman, Ariz. Services were Thursday, March 16, 2000, at Golden Valley VFW Post 2555. Arrangements were by Sutton’s Funeral Home. He was born in Houma, La. He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War. Charles Smart IRAAN — Charles Smart, 66, of Iraan, a retired employee of the City of Iraan, died Thursday, March 16, 2000, at his residence.
