Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. today at Santa Rosa Catholic Church. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home. He was born in Ruidosa, Texas, and was a lifelong resident of Pecos. He was Catholic. SURVIVORS: Sons, Bernardo "Chaquen" Martinez and Leonel Martinez, both of Pecos, Sebastian Martinez of El Paso, Armando Martinez of Los Angeles and Ramon Martinez of Phoenix; daughters, Mary M. Ortega of Pecos, Juana Sandoval of New Port News, Va., Monserato Edwards of Dallas, Loreto Florez of Houston and Sylvia Ramirez of Barstow; sisters, Bonifacia Martinez De Marquez and Jesusita Martinez de Nichols, both of Pecos; 38 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. Frances Evans ODESSA — Frances Valentine Evans, 96, of Odessa died Wednesday, March 29, 2000, at Seabury Nursing Home.
