April 03, 2000 Permian Basin Death Notices Gladys Dillard ODESSA — Gladys Mildred Dillard, 77, of Odessa died Sunday, April 2, 2000, in a local hospital. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be held Friday, April 7, 2000, in Gordonsville, Tenn. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. She was born in Tennessee and had lived in Odessa since 1958. She had worked at G. C. Murphy’s for 5 years and Dunlaps for 10 years. She was a member of Westover Baptist Church. SURVIVORS: Husband, Carl C. Dillard of Odessa; daughters, Peggy Jones of Lebanon, Tenn., Paula Proffitt of Carthage, Tenn., Patricia Clevenger of Odessa and Pamela Schlauch of Covington, Tenn.; brother, Wayne Blackburn of Lebanon, Tenn.; sisters, Etta Frances O’Quin and Sue Woods, both of Winchester, Tenn.; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Cecil Pollet DUMAS — Cecil Owen Pollet, 58, of Odessa, a forklift repairman, died Saturday, April 1, 2000, at Seabury Nursing Home. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Dumas Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Clark of Bible Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. He was born in Coody’s Bluff, Okla. SURVIVORS: Brother, Jim Pollet of Andrews; and a sister, Helen Dravis of Tucumcari, N.M. Billy C. Preston ODESSA — Billy C. Preston, 70, of Houston died Saturday, April 1, 2000, at Heartland Health Care in Houston. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev.
