Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. today at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with the Rev. John Lucido officiating. Burial will be at Kermit Cemetery. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel. She was born in Pecos and had been a resident for 53 years. SURVIVORS: Nieces and nephews. Carl Von Elm KERMIT — Carl C. Von Elm, 86, of El Paso, retired petroleum engineer, died Sunday, April 16, 2000, at his residence. Services will be at 10 a.m. today at St. Thomas Catholic Church with the Rev. John Lucido officiating. Burial will be at Kermit Cemetery. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel. He was born in Oklahoma City and moved to El Paso from Kermit. He was Catholic. SURVIVORS: Son, Carl G. Von Elm of Milford, Va.; daughter, Penny Viescas of El Paso; and three grandchildren. Alma Littleton SANDERSON — Alma Jewel Littleton, 84, of Abilene, a retired postmistress, died Sunday, April 16, 2000, at a care center in Abilene. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at First Methodist Church with the Rev. Danny Sanders officiating. Burial will be at Terrell County Cemetery. Arrangements by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home. She was born in Jerrell and moved to Abilene from Dryden in 1996. She was Methodist. SURVIVORS: Sons, Bobby Jett Littleton of Knippa and Bill Littleton of Cuero; daughters, Janell Johnson of Waco, Silvia Littleton of Abilene and Vicky Sanders of Midland; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Richard Postlethwaite ODESSA — Richard Postlethwaite, 58, of Odessa, retired employee of the city of Odessa Parks Department, died Friday, April 14, 2000, at his residence. There are no services scheduled. He was born in New Philadelphia, Ohio. SURVIVORS: Sons, Bernard W. Postlethwaite of Hernando, Fla., and Richard T. Postlethwaite of Orange Park, Fla.; and daughter, Rine Taflinger of Inverness, Fla. Delfina Rivas STANTON — Delfina Rivas, 79, of Lenorah died Sunday, April 16, 2000, at Martin County Hospital. Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Arturo Pestin and Ernie Sanchez officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements by Stanton Memorial Funeral Home. She was born in Millet and moved to Lenorah in 1951. She was Catholic. SURVIVORS: Husband, Joe T.
