Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Community Christian Church with the Rev. Jerry Enmon officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Cemetery. Arrangements by Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home. He was born in Strong, Ark. He was a member of Community Christian Church. Lorane Fields ODESSA — Lorane Fields, 89, of Pecos, a homemaker, died Tuesday, April 18, 2000, at her residence. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Billy Woodard officiating. Burial will be at East Side Cemetery. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home. She was born in Waco. She was Methodist. Betty Jo Gaines ODESSA — Betty Jo Gaines, 73, of Odessa, a retired bookeeper, died Wednesday, April 19, 2000, at Medical Center Hospital. Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Parkview Church of Christ with Charles Jones officiating. Services were by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. She was born in Archer City and moved to Odessa in 1962. SURVIVORS: Husband, Jack Gaines of Odessa; sons, Harley McCorcle of Odessa and Felix Gaines of Warrenton, Va.; daughters, Karen Redman of Bangs and Belinda Gaines of Navasota; stepsons, Robert Gaines of Holland, Texas, Dale Gaines of Cedar City; stepdaughter, Lanita Bangeman of Crane; mother, Alice Phillips of Odessa; brother, James Thomas of Woodland; sister, Doris Riley of Midland; and 18 grandchildren. Regino Nunez Jr. MARFA — Regino Nunez Jr., 66, of Marfa died Saturday, April 15, 2000, in an Odessa Hospital. Graveside services were Thursday, April 20, 2000, at Merced Cemetery. Corda Schutten KERMIT — Corda Lee Schutten, 93, of Kermit died Wednesday, April 19, 2000, at Kermit Health Care Center. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Kermit Cemetery. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel. She was born in Kermit and had been a resident for 54 years. She was Pentecostal.
