He was born in Dangerfield. He was a member of the Cowboy Church of Midland. Ozzie Cheek BROWNFIELD — Ozzie Cheek, 84, of Hobbs, N.M. died Sunday, April 23, 2000, in Hobbs. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Brownfield Cemetery with the Rev. Jack Garrett officiating. Arrangements by Brownfield Funeral Home. He was born in Aniston, Okla. and was part owner of John Drilling Co. in Odessa. He was a Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. Harrington, 92, of Big Spring, died on Sunday, April 23, 2000, at a Big Spring nursing home. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. today at Trinity Memorial Park with the Rev. Darrell Hendrickson officiating. Arrangements by Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. He was born in Guion and moved to Howard County in 1920. He worked as a welder for McVean & Barlow Pipeline Construction. He was a member of First Church of God. SURVIVORS: Wife, Ethel Margaret Harrington of Big Spring; daughter, Carolyn Fielder of San Marcos; son, Charles Harrington of Big Spring; step-daughter, Barbara Johnson of Oklahoma City; stepsons, Derrell Hart of Ohio and Jerry Hart of Boulder, Colo.; brothers, Harroll C.
