April 27, 2000 Permian Basin Death Notices Garnette Lapier KERMIT — Garnette Mae Lapier, 67, of Kermit died Monday, April 24, 2000, at her residence. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at 712 N. Oak St. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel. She was born in Branchland, W.Va., and had been a resident of Kermit for 22 years.
