   CRANE Jeff Adams, 34, of Upton County, a teacher, died Monday, May 1,
                          2000, at his residence.
                                      
    Services will be at 2 p.m. today at First United Methodist Church of
         Crane with the Revs. Joe Bullock and Craig and Raquel Mull
   officiating. Burial will be at Crane County Cemetery. Arrangements by
                        Richard W. Box Funeral Home.
                                      
                He was born in Midland. He was Presbyterian.
                                      
     SURVIVORS: Parents, Neal and Clair Adams of Upton County; sisters,
   Stephanie ODonnell and Anne Marie Aubin of New Braunfels; and brother,
                           David Adams of Alvord.
                                      
                             T. Richard Foster
                                      
    MIDLAND T. Richard Foster, 55, of Midland, a senior estimator, died
                      Monday, May 1, 2000, in Midland.
                                      
   Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel with
   the Rev. Robert Fraizer officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven North
               Cemetery. Arrangements by Ellis Funeral Home.
                                      
               He was born in Fort Stockton. He was Baptist.
                                      
   SURVIVORS: Wife, Shirley Foster of Midland; sons, David Foster of Elk
    City, Okla., and Tony Foster of Midland; daughters, Shelbae Smith of
    Odessa and Alana Nelson of Midland; brother, Ronny Foster of Lyford;
    sister, Dorthea Huelster of Fort Stockton; and three grandchildren.
                                      
                                A.L. Houston
                                      
   ODESSA A.L. Houston, 95, of Odessa, a bookkeeper, died Monday, May 1,
                          2000, at his residence.
                                      
    Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today at Frank W. Wilson Funeral
    Directors Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Ernest Easley officiating. Burial
        will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Evergreen Cemetery in Stanton.
             Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
                                      
   He was born in Stanton and moved to Odessa in 1944. He was a Baptist.
                                      
      SURVIVORS: Wife, Gracie Houston of Odessa; daughter, Kay Cook of
                                  Houston.
                                      
                               Jessie Oliver
                                      
    WESTBROOK Jessie Jewel Oliver, 93, of Odessa died Wednesday, May 3,
                           2000, at Avalon Place.
                                      
   Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Westbrook Baptist Church with the
    Rev. Alton Towery officiating. Burial will be at Westbrook Cemetery.
        Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.
                                      
   She was born in Van Zandt County and moved to Odessa in 1985. She was
                                  Baptist.
                                      
    SURVIVORS: Son, Thomas J. Oliver Jr. of Stockdale; daughters, Betty
    Joe Craft of Monahans, Nell Waldrop of Odessa; 10 grandchildren; 26
           great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
                                      
                                Joe Phillips
                                      
     KERMIT Joe W. Phillips, 78, of Kermit, a retired tool pusher, died
             Wednesday, May 3, 2000, at Deerings Nursing Home.
                                      
    Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Kermit Cemetery with
     Russ Smith Jr. officiating. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel.
                                      
   He was born in Yeager, Okla., and had been a resident of Kermit for 41
                                   years.
                                      
                             He was Protestant.
                                      
   SURVIVORS: Wife, Edith M. Phillips of Kermit; son, John W. Phillips of
      Kermit; daughters, Melody Salmons of Bandera and Vicki Fason of
        Kermit; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
