                               Simona Morales
     MONAHANS — Simona Morales, 87, of Monahans, a homemaker, died
                 Wednesday, May 3, 2000, at her residence.
    Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. today at St. John’s Catholic
       Church with the Rev. John Lucio officiating. Burial will be at
     Monahans Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
                 She was born in Ruidosa. She was Catholic.
      SURVIVORS: Sons, Armando Morales of Saragosa, Quaquin Morales of
     Roswell, N.M., Tranquilino Morales of Pleasanton, Felix Morales of
    Ferris, Okla., Manuel Morales of Monahans, Ramon Morales of Kossie;
    daughters, Dulces Bejaran and Senoriana Nunez, both of Monahans; 42
                 grandchildren; and 56 great-grandchildren.
                                      
                               Edwin Stephens
    KERMIT — Edwin Donald "Don" Stephens, 84, of Kermit, a retired
        tool pusher, died Wednesday, May 3, 2000, at his residence.
    Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with
       the Rev. Russ Smith Sr. officiating. Burial will be at Kermit
              Cemetery. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel.
    He was born in Natchitoches, La., and has been a resident of Kermit
        for 41 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was
                                 Methodist.
   SURVIVORS: Wife, Evelyn Stephens of Kermit; son, Larry Rufus Whitehead
    of Natchitoches, La.; daughters, Donna Beasley of Dalhart and Becky
   Page of Arab, Ala.; brother, Samuel Ray Stephens of Natchitoches, La.,
    and Ernest Alvin Stephens of Shreveport, La.; sisters, Jewel Bennett
      and Emma Dee Bennett, both of Natchitoches, La., and Esther Faye
              Nelson of Shreveport, La.; and 10 grandchildren.
