   CRANE Lenna Currie, 111, of Crane, a homemaker, died Tuesday, May 23,
                          2000, at her residence.
                                      
   Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church
   with the Rev. Craig Mull officiating. Arrangements by Shaffer-Nichols
                               Funeral Home.
                                      
    She was born in Benton, Ark., and had been a resident of Crane since
                          1980. She was Methodist.
                                      
    SURVIVORS: Grandsons, Tom Currie of Crane and Herb Currie of Bryan;
      three great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grand-children.

                               Gerel Hartman
                                      
   ODESSA Gerel Devene "Geri" Hartman, 66, of Odessa died Monday, May 22,
                     2000, at Medical Center Hospital.
                                      
     Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Marys Catholic
                    Church. Arrangements by the family.
                                      
               She was born in Bell County. She was Catholic.
                                      
     SURVIVORS: Son, Mike Hartman of Odessa; mother, Margaret Cosper of
       Temple; sisters, Margaret Smith of Odessa and Loretta Meyer of
   Carlsbad, N.M.; brother, Bill Truelove of Moffat; five grandchildren;
                        and six great-grandchildren.

                                Stacy Holmes
                                      
   PERRYTON Stacy K. Holmes, 41, of Perryton, a chemical technician, died
                   Wednesday, May 17, 2000, in Perryton.
                                      
    Services were held Saturday, May 20, 2000, at First United Methodist
         Church. Burial was at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Perryton.
            Arrangements were by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.
                                      
   He was born in Abilene and had been a resident of Perryton since 1987.
                             He was Methodist.
                                      
     SURVIVORS: Wife, Janice Holmes of Perryton; son, Stephen Holmes of
   Perryton; father and step-mother, Wendell and Judy Holmes of Russell,
   Kan.; mother, Gilda Holmes of Odessa; brothers, Gary Holmes of Austin,
   Randy Holmes of Odessa and Kory Holmes of Irving; stepsis-ters, Monica
    Stage of Wood-stock, Ga., and Laurie Long of Katy.; and stepbrother,
                         Martin Griese of Houston.

   CHATTANOOGA, TENN. Louise Clarks, 78, of Chattanooga died Monday, May
                     22, 2000, at a local nursing home.
                                      
        Services are pending with Franklin-Strickland Nursing Home.
