                                Annis Meers
                                      
   KERMIT — Annis Meers, 95, of Houston, a homemaker, died Saturday,
          May 20, 2000, at West Oaks Geriatric Center in Houston.
                                      
   Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Kermit Cemetery with
     Brian McGonagill officiating. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Home
                                  Chapel.
                                      
      She was born in Waxahachie and had moved to Houston in 1996 from
             Kermit. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
                                      
         SURVIVORS: Two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

    ODESSA — Ricky McFarlen, 40, of Odessa died Wednesday, May 24,
                          2000, at his residence.
                                      
   Services are pending with Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.
