     MONAHANS Nora Holloway Arrieta, 59, of Monahans, a homemaker, died
                 Thursday, June 1, 2000, at her residence.
                                      
   Services will be at 1 p.m. today at First United Methodist Church with
       the Rev. Jeppie Wilson officiating. Burial will be at Monahans
          Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home.
                                      
    She was born in Columbus, Ohio, and had been a resident of Monahans
                                since 1972.
                                      
    SURVIVORS: Husband, Dan Arrieta of Monahans; son, Gerald Holloway of
      California; daughters, Melody Hughes and Linda Stockman, both of
   Monahans and Carrie Gordan of Alabama; stepdaughters, Debbie Baker of
      Monahans and Cindy Arrieta of San Antonio; mother, Dorothy Rose
    Allbright of Columbus, Ohio; sisters, Carolyn Carrillo of Yuba City,
    Calif., and Linda Glanz of Columbus, Ohio; and eight grandchildren.

                               A.R. Somerford
                                      
        MONAHANS A.R. "Chief" Somerford, 77, of Monahans, a retired
     maintenance worker, died Thursday, June 1, 2000, at Medical Center
                                 Hospital.
                                      
     Services will be at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at Harkey Funeral Home Chapel
      with Gordan Cox officiating. Burial will be at Elmwood Memorial
         Cemetery in Abilene. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home.
                                      
     He was born in Eastland County and has been a longtime resident of
      Monahans. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was Baptist.
                                      
     SURVIVORS: Step-daughters, Jo Ellen Pullin of Grove, Okla., Ginger
              Helm of Abilene and Linda Hall of Orange, Texas.

                               B.M. Thompson
                                      
      ODESSA B.M. "Tommy" Thompson, 89, of Odessa, a retired Realtors
    associate, died Wednesday, May 31, 2000, at Medical Center Hospital.
                                      
   Services will be at 10 a.m. today at the First United Methodist Church
    with the Rev. Bill Heggemeier officiating. Burial will be at Sunset
       Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
                                      
    He was born in Altoona, Ala. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
                             He was Methodist.
                                      
   SURVIVORS: Wife, Eloise Thompson of Odessa; brother, W.D. Thompson of
      Trussville, Ala.; sister, Sarah T. Mackey of Pompano Beach, Fla.
