June 21, 2000 Permian Basin Death Notices Millet Vuicich SEMINOLE — Millet Vuicich, 73, of Haskell, a retired rancher, died Sunday, June 18, 2000, at his residence. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Doss Community Chapel with the Rev. Jim Auld officiating. Burial will be at Gaines County Cemetery South. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home of Seminole. He was born in Eaglenest, N.M. He was an Army and a Navy veteran. He was Greek Orthodox. SURVIVORS: Wife, Gladys Vuicich of Haskell; sons, William Millet Vuicich of Seminole and Chris Vuicich of Breckenridge; stepsons, Dale Springer of Superior, Wyo., Derryl Love of Breckenridge and David Love of San Diego; daughters, Gaylene Grimsley of Meoa, Colo., and Jeannie Vuicich Fulgham of Breckenridge; stepdaughter, Cathy Link of Midland; sister, Maggie Robinson of Dallas; brothers, Bud Vuicich of Ruidoso, N.M., and Mike Vuicich of New York; 17 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Bernardino Salgado MIDLAND — Bernardino "Nino" B. Salgado, 73, of Midland, retired owner of Salgado Roofing, died Monday, June 19, 2000, at Memorial Hospital and Medical Center. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Templo Jerusalem with the Rev. Manuel J. Hernandez officiating. A prayer service will be at 7 p.m. today at Reyes-Garcia Chapel with Luis Chavez officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery. Arrangements by Reyes-Garcia Funeral Home. He was born in Martin County. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Templo Jerusalem.
