                               Billy Chesser
                                      
   ODESSA Billy Dale Chesser, 50, of Odessa, died Saturday, July 8, 2000,
                        at Medical Center Hospital.
                                      
   Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of
           Latter Day Saints with the Rev. Alan Pitt officiating.
                                      
     Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Sunset
                     Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.
                                      
    He was born in Odessa and was a lifelong resident. SURVIVORS: Wife,
   Janyth Chesser of Odessa; sons, Dennis W. Chesser of League City, Joey
      Chesser of Skellytown, Greg Chesser of Camp Casey, South Korea;
    daughters, Janeen Richison of Garland and Melanie Barton of Dallas;
            mother, Marie Chesser of Odessa; and one grandchild.
                                      
                              Martin Hernandez
                                      
    BROWNSVILLE Martin L. Hernandez, 72, of Brownsville, a truck driver,
     died Friday, July 7, 2000, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.
                                      
   Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Iglesia Fuente Del Cielo with the
      Rev. Marcelino Banda officiating. Burial will be at Brownsville
            Cemetery. Arrangements by Head Family Funeral Home.
                                      
   He was born in Telingua. He moved to Brownsville in 1994 from Dallas.
                                      
   SURVIVORS: Sons, Domingo Hernandez of San Angelo, Thomas Hernandez of
      Kermit, Jorge Hernandez of Brownsville, Abundio Hernandez of San
     Angelo, Paul Hernandez of Brownsville, Miguel Hernandez of Kermit,
     Martin Hernandez of Brownsville, and Diego and Gilberto Hernandez,
    both of Dallas; daughters, Hortencia Maria Galvan of Grand Prairie,
   Maria Beatrice Hernandez of Grand Prairie, Veronica Reynosa of Odessa
       and Jessica Edwards of Allen; brothers, Epifanio Hernandez of
     California and Alberto Hernandez of Tampa, Fla.; sisters, Eluteria
    Hinojos of Fresno, Calif., and Jesusita Flores of Hallister, Calif.;
                38 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

   ODESSA Iris Nicole Baiza Botello, 8, of Odessa, died Saturday, July 8,
                            2000, in San Angelo.
                                      
              Services are pending with Martinez Funeral Home.
