     FORT STOCKTON Tony Benavides, 43, of Fort Stockton, owner of State
    Farm Insurance Agency in Fort Stockton, died Tuesday, July 11, 2000,
                                 in Iraan.
                                      
     Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Josephs Catholic
   Church with the Rev. David Herrera officiating. Rosary will be said at
   7 p.m. Friday at Fort Stockton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at
     St. Josephs Cemetery. Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
                                      
     He was born in Fort Stockton and was a lifelong resident. He was a
                       Navy veteran. He was Catholic.
                                      
       SURVIVORS: Wife, Gina Benavides of Fort Stockton; son, Joseph
      Benavides of Fort Stockton; parents, Antonio S. and Jesusita G.
     Benavides of Fort Stockton; and brothers, Orlando Benavides of San
             Antonio and Gilrey Benavides of Albuquerque, N.M.
                                      
                               Robert Buford
                                      
       MONAHANS Robert Louis Buford, 79, of Lindale, a retired plant
      operator, died Tuesday, July 11, 2000, at Lindale Nursing Home.
                                      
      Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Monahans Memorial
    Cemetery with the Rev. Stephen Swisher officiating. Arrangements by
                            Harkey Funeral Home.
                                      
    He was born in Bronte. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was
                                 Methodist.
                                      
    SURVIVORS: Daughter, Karen Moore of Hideaway Lake; sister, Ernestine
              Van Zandt of San Angelo; and two grandchildren.
                                      
                                George Gann
                                      
    LUBBOCK George Dale Gann, 48, of Odessa, a billing supervisor, died
           Wednesday, July 12, 2000, at Medical Center Hospital.
                                      
      Private services will be held Friday in Lubbock. Arrangements by
                       Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
                                      
                           He was born in Snyder.
                                      
   SURVIVORS: Mother, Betty Miller of Odessa; brother, Robert Louis Gann
   of Houston; and sisters, Gale Kerr and Pamela Denise Kincaid, both of
                                  Odessa.
                                      
                               Eustacia Yanez
                                      
   ENCINITAS, Calif. Eustacia Gonzalez Yanez, 90, of Carlsbad, Calif., a
          homemaker, died Monday, July 10, 2000, at her residence.
                                      
   Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at St. Johns Catholic Church
   in Encinitas. Burial will be at El Camino Memorial Park in San Diego.
              Arrangements by Encinitas Mortuary in Encinitas.
                                      
                           She was born in Marfa.
                                      
       SURVIVORS: Sons, Albert Yanez of Carlsbad and Robert Yanez of
   Encinitas; daughters, Gloria Garcia of Laucadia, Calif., Lydia Benson
   and Elidia Patchett, both of San Fernando, Calif., and Jennie Saldate
   of Fresno, Calif.; 31 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; and eight
                         great-great-grandchildren.
