He was born in Fort Worth. He was a student at Barbara Jordan Elementary School. He was Baptist. Isham Cherry ODESSA Isham Cherry, 77, of Odessa, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, died Saturday, Sept. 2, 2000, at Desert View Manor in Crane. A military graveside service will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Clydel Chapman officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. He was born in Mount Vernon. He was a retired employee of Phillips Petro-leum Co. He enjoyed bowling and go-cart racing. He was Baptist.
