Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at Santa Rosa Catholic Church with the Rev. Mike Alcuino officiating. Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Barstow Cemetery. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home. He was born in Barstow and had been a lifelong resident. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Carmen Sanchez BALMORHEA Carmen Ornelas Sanchez, 84, of Balmorhea, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2000, at Reeves County Hospital in Pecos. Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Thursday at Christ the King Catholic Church with the Rev. Mike Alcuino officiating. Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today at Christ the King Catholic Church. Burial will be at Balmorhea Cemetery. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home. She was born in Presidio and had been a lifelong resident of Balmorhea. She was Catholic. SURVIVORS: Sons, David Ornelas Sr. and Joe Ornelas Sanchez, both of Balmorhea; daughters, Arsilia S. Carrasco and Rosario S. Cervantez, both of Balmorhea, and Carmen S.
