     ODESSA Chella French Gonzales, 19, of Odessa, an employee of Kirby
      Co., died Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2000, at Covenant Medical Center in
                                  Lubbock.
                                      
      Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Sunset Memorial
           Gardens. Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
                                      
                       She was born in Sidney, Mont.
                                      
     SURVIVORS: Parents, Jesus and Tracy Gonzales of Odessa; brothers,
   Charles French Gonzales of Odessa and Carlos Rene Gonzales of Del Rio;
        grandparents, Albert and Cleo French of Faxville, Mont.; and
            great-grandmother, Nita Cromwell of Faxville, Mont.
                                      
                                Edna Hopper
                                      
   SCURRY COUNTY Edna Pearl Hopper, 91, of Odessa, a retired beautician,
        died Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2000, at Avalon Place Nursing Home.
                                      
      Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Pyron Cemetery.
                Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
                                      
            She was born in Sulphur Springs. She was Methodist.
                                      
         SURVIVORS: Daughter-in-law; three grandchildren; and seven
                            great-grandchildren.
                                      
                              Thomas O. Inman
                                      
   ODESSA Thomas O. Inman, 79, of Odessa, a retired contract welder, died
           Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2000, at Avalon Place Nursing Home.
                                      
   Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hubbard-Kelly Chapel with the
   Rev. Dr. Ernest Easley officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial
            Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
                                      
   He was born in Oil City, La., and had been a resident of Odessa since
             1957. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II.
                                      
       SURVIVORS: Daughters, Jan Hensley of Odessa, Linda Mitchell of
   Stephenville and Billie Galvin of San Antonio; five grandchildren; and
                          two great-grandchildren.
                                      
                              Harold Phillips
                                      
       HUGOTON, Kans. Harold Eugene Phillips, 80, of Pecos, a retired
   measurement technician for Trans Western Pipe Co., died Tuesday, Sept.
                        12, 2000, at his residence.
                                      
     Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Pauls Memorial Chapel. Burial
      will be at Hugoton Cemetery. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.
                                      
   He was born in Hugoton. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was
                     a member of the Christian Church.
                                      
    SURVIVORS: Wife, Pearl Phillips of Pecos; son, Woody Phillips of San
    Antonio; daughter, Janna Davis of Pecos; brother, Eldon Phillips of
    Hugoton; sister, Elda Lou Main of McKinney; three grandchildren; and
                          two great-grandchildren.
