     HOBBS, N.M. Hazel Pauline Bishop, 80, of Hobbs, N.M., a homemaker,
      died Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2000, at Lea Regional Hospital in Hobbs.
                                      
    Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Bethel Assembly of God with the
   Rev. Kenny Reed officiating. Burial will be at Prairie Haven Cemetery.
                   Arrangements by Griffin Funeral Home.
                                      
   She was born in Farris, Okla., and had been a resident of Hobbs since
               1942. She was a member of the Assembly of God.
                                      
   SURVIVORS: Son, H.B. Bishop of Pinehurst; daughters, Wanda Williams of
    McCamey, Nevell Alford of Andrews and Peggy Brasted of Eunice, N.M.;
    brothers, Buford Sipes and Bill Sipes, both of Antlers, Okla.; eight
              grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two
                          stepgreat-grandchildren.
                                      
                               Gregory Houpe
                                      
      ODESSA Gregory Vone Houpe, infant son of Amye McNeil and Gregory
   Houpe, both of Odessa, died Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2000, at Medical Center
                                 Hospital.
                                      
     Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Martinez Funeral Home with the
    Rev. R.T. McNeil officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery.
                   Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
                                      
           He was born Sept. 15, 2000, in Odessa. He was Baptist.
                                      
     SURVIVORS: Parents; and grandparents, R.T. McNeil and Amye McNeil,
            both of Odessa, and Frieda Ficks of Columbus, Ohio.
                                      
                                Wayne Lingle
                                      
      DECATUR Wayne N. Lingle, 77, of Decatur, a retired welder, died
               Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2000, at Decatur Hospital.
                                      
   Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Coker Funeral Home Chapel with
   the Rev. Jerry Miller officiating. Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery.
                    Arrangements by Coker Funeral Home.
                                      
   He was born in Breckenridge and had been a resident of Odessa. He was
              an Army veteran of World War II. He was Baptist.
                                      
    SURVIVORS: Daughters, Priscilla June Walker and Cindy Grove, both of
   Decatur; stepdaughter, Cece Lisby of Decatur; brother, Jimmy Brown of
         Houston; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
                                      
                                Lylia Talley
                                      
      BENTONVILLE, Ark. Lylia Mae Talley, 69, of Bentonville, Ark., a
    homemaker, died Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2000, at Bates Medical Center in
                                Bentonville.
                                      
    Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Chapel
    with the Rev. Bill Wood officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant
    Cemetery in Hiwasse, Ark. Arrangements by Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral
                                   Home.
                                      
   She was born in Centerton, Ark., and had been a resident of Odessa for
                         12 years. She was Baptist.
                                      
   SURVIVORS: Husband, Adrian Talley of Bentonville; son, Jerry Talley of
   Rogers, Ark.; daughters, Judy Johnson of Springdale and Mary Baker of
   Memphis, Tenn.; brothers, Kenneth Elsea of Hiwasse and Bobby Elsea of
   Bullhead City, Ariz.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

   ODESSA Gregoria Alonso, 74, of Odessa died Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2000,
                             at her residence.

   WACO Mickie Ares, 72, of Valley Mills died Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2000,
                                  in Waco.

    MEXICO Elmer Holdeman, 60, of Odessa died Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2000,
