September 24, 2000 Evelyn Brady MIDLAND Evelyn Prine Brady, 85, of Midland, a homemaker, died Thursday, Sept. 21, 2000, at Scenic Mountain Medical Center in Big Spring. Graveside services were held Saturday, Sept. 23, 2000, at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Bob Porterfield officiating. Arrangements by Stanton Memorial Funeral Home and Chapel. She was born in Little Rock, Ark., and had lived in Midland for 40 years. SURVIVORS: Son, Robert J. Wadkins of Palm Beach, Fla.; daughter, Joyce stacks of Chico; sister, Violet Long of Leander; brother, Wesley Prine of Midland; and several grandchildren. Nellie Curtis ODESSA Nellie R. Curtis, 86, of Odessa died Saturday, Sept. 23, 2000, at Deerings Nursing Home. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Jess Little officiating. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. She was born in Giles County, Tenn., and moved to Odessa in 1962 from Denver City. She was Baptist. SURVIVORS: Daughters, Cara Roberson of Odessa, Jan Langseth of La Porte and Glenna Fenton of Albuquerque, N.M.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. L.V. Holley MIDLAND L.V. Holley, 76, of Midland, a retired employee of Texaco, died Saturday, Sept. 23, 2000, in Midland after a brief illness. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Crestview Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Larry Ashlock officiating. Arrangements by Ellis Funeral Home. He was born in Lamesa. He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II. SURVIVORS: Wife, Jean Holley of Midland; daughters Linda Brown of Lamesa, and Suzanne "Sam" Hicks of Mesquite; brother, Odis Holley of Clovis, Calif.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
