     ODESSA Destini Cortez, an infant, died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2000, at
                          Medical Center Hospital.
                                      
    Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Rosehill Cemetery.
     Burial will be at Rosehill Cemetery. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly
                               Funeral Home.
                                      
   SURVIVORS: Mother, Belinda Franco of Odessa; brothers, Desi Franco and
     Dani Franco, both of Odessa; grandmother, Maria Cortez of Orlando,
               Fla.; and grandfather, Pedro Cortez of Odessa.
                                      
                             Lucious Hubert Sr.
                                      
   ANDREWS Lucious Hubert Sr., 81, of Andrews, owner of Huberts Barbecue,
                  died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2000, at his home.
                                      
   Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Calvary Baptist Church with the
    Revs. Jimmy Braswell and Mike Henson officiating. Burial will be at
        Andrews North Cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
                                      
   He was born in Brenham. He worked at Camp Bowie in Brownwood for five
          years. He lived in Andrews for 46 years. He was Baptist.
                                      
    SURVIVORS: Wife, Ilena Hubert of Andrews; sons, Lucious Hubert Jr.,
     Calvin Hubert and Hiram Hubert, all of Andrews; daughter, Lasonia
   Hubert of Andrews; brothers, Howard Hubert and Jessie Hubert, both of
     Houston; sisters, Doris Price and Clara Harrison, both of Dallas;
              eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
                                      
                                C.B. Hughes
                                      
      FORT STOCKTON C.B. Hughes, 73, of Fort Stockton, a farmer, died
         Saturday, Oct. 7, 2000, at Pecos County Memorial Hospital.
                                      
    Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Josephs Catholic Church
      with Raymondo Garcia officiating. Burial will be at St. Josephs
       Cemetery. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Tuesday at St. Josephs
          Catholic Church. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home.
                                      
                  He was born in Harwood. He was Catholic.
                                      
   SURVIVORS: Wife, Manuela Hughes of Fort Stockton; sons, Rey Hughes of
      Fort Stockton, Jamie Hughes of San Antonio and Enrique Hughes of
       Lubbock; daughters, Lula Hughes and Nancy Hughes, both of Fort
               Stockton, and Corina Hughes of Carlsbad, N.M.
                                      
                               Wesley Minton
                                      
      ODESSA Wesley Newman Minton, 62, of Odessa, a Coastal Management
            employee, died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2000, at his home.
                                      
    Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Odessa Christian Faith Center
     with Don Caywood officiating. Burial will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at
         Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens in San Angelo. Arrangements by
                        Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
                                      
      He was born in Snyder. He was a member of Odessa Christian Faith
                                  Center.
                                      
   SURVIVORS: Wife, LaVerne Minton of Odessa; daughters, Julie Worster of
    Sanderson, Resa Tyree of Fort Stockton and Heidi Gesch of Spur; and
                             six grandchildren.

      CRANE Nan Largent, 68, of Crane, died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2000, at
                     Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
                                      
    Arrangements are pending with Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home of Crane.

   ODESSA Eliseo Marichalar, 72, of Odessa, died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2000, at
                          Medical Center Hospital.

    ANDREWS Billy Roberts, 63, of Andrews, died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2000, in
                                  Andrews.
