    ODESSA Cruz B. Silvas, 74, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Friday, Oct.
                   27, 2000, at Medical Center Hospital.
                                      
     Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Seventh Day Adventist Church
     with Jaime Calvo officiating. Burial will be at Monahans Cemetery.
                   Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
                                      
    She was born in Ojinaga, Mexico. She was a member of the Seventh Day
                             Adventist Church.
                                      
   SURVIVORS: Daughters, Maria Gonzalez of Denver City, Senaida Chavez of
     Muleshoe, Guadalupe Flores of San Antonio, Susand Zamarron of San
       Angelo and Juanita Bersoza of Odessa; sisters, Rufina Bersoza,
     Escolastica Hol-guin and Elpidia Gonzales, all of Odessa, Justina
   Salgado of Pecos, Emeteria Rodriguez of Balmorhea and Margarita Duran
    of Eloy, Ark.; brothers, Luciano Baez of Alpine, and Faustino Baeza,
     Guada-lupe Baeza, Jose Baeza and Armando Baeza, all of Odessa; 18
                 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.

    ODESSA Marjorie F. Carlisle, 76, of Odessa, died Saturday, Oct. 28,
                    2000, at Avalon Place Nursing Home.
                                      
          Services are pending with Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
