     EASTLAND Sarah Hilburn, 91, of Eastland, a homemaker, died Sunday,
        Oct. 29, 2000, at Valley View Healthcare Center in Eastland.
                                      
    Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Eastland City Cemetery
   with the Rev. Rex Boggs officiating. Arrange-ments by Edwards Funeral
                                   Home.
                                      
    She was born in Coryell County and had been a resident of Odessa and
                         Monahans. She was Baptist.
                                      
    SURVIVORS: Daughter, Betty Nichols of Eastland; three grandchildren;
                       and five great-grandchildren.
                                      
                               Jimmy Johnson
                                      
        ALPINE Jimmy Davison Johnson, 52, of Alpine, a self-employed
       contractor, died Sunday, Oct. 29, 2000, at a Lubbock hospital.
                                      
   Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today at Elm Grove Cemetery with
       Lee Sleeper officiating. Arrangements by Geeslin Funeral Home.
                                      
   He was born in Alpine and was a lifelong resident. He was a member of
                           the Christian Church.
                                      
   SURVIVORS: Son, James Davis Johnson of Alpine; mother, Anna Johnson of
     Alpine; sister, Joan Johnson of Alpine; brothers, Keith Johnson of
   Roscoe and George Johnson of Alpine; and grandmother, Faye Johnson of
                                  Zapata.
                                      
                              Josepha Salcido
                                      
    FORT DAVIS Josepha "Josie" Salcido, 81, of Fort Davis, a homemaker,
             died Sunday, Oct. 29, 2000, at an Odessa hospital.
                                      
   Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. today at St. Josephs Catholic Church
    with the Rev. John Lucido officiating. Burial will be at St. Josephs
          Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements by Geeslin Funeral Home.
                                      
   She was born in Alpine and was a longtime resident of Fort Davis. She
                               was Catholic.
                                      
      SURVIVORS: Sons, Lee Roy Salcido and Jimmy Salcido, both of Fort
    Davis, and Jesus Salcido Jr. of Andrews; daughter, Linda Bentley of
   Odessa; brother, George Gallego of Cisco; and sisters, Carmen Salcido
                   and Eliza Aquilar, both of Fort Davis.

    MONAHANS Jose Ignacio Galindo, 29, of Monahans died Sunday, Oct. 29,
                             2000, in Monahans.

    FORT WORTH Dan Arturo Marquez, a two-month-old infant, died Sunday,
          Oct. 29, 2000, at Cook Childrens Hospital in Fort Worth.
