                               Melvin Maynard
     EASTLAND Melvin R. Cotton Maynard, 69, of Sidney, retired owner of
      Precision Graphics in Amarillo, died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2000, at
                       Anderson Hospital in Houston.
     Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church with the
     Rev. Dr. Shawn Brewer officiating. Burial will be at Sipe Springs
              Cemetery. Arrangements by Edwards Funeral Home.
    He was born in Eastland County. He was an Army veteran of the Korean
                            War. He was Baptist.
   SURVIVORS: Wife, Bonnie Maynard of Sidney; sons, Royce Lee Maynard of
    Houston and Brian Wesley Maynard of Austin; brothers, Marvin PeeWee
       Maynard and Walter Maynard, both of Eastland, Eldon Maynard of
    Richardson, Gene Maynard of May and J.L. Maynard of Carbon; sister,
    Velma Carson of Sidney; three grand-children; and a great-grandson.
                             Michelle Rodriguez
   STANTON Michelle Rodriguez, 21 months, of Stanton died Wednesday, Nov.
             8, 2000, at University Medical Center in Lubbock.
   Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church
     with the Revs. Arturo Pestin and Ernie Sanchez officiating. Burial
    will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements by Stanton
                     Memorial Funeral Home and Chapel.
                           She was born in Pampa.
     SURVIVORS: Father, Michael Rodriguez of Stanton; mother, Rosalinda
     Rodriguez of Stanton; brothers, Michael Rodriguez Jr., Joe Albert
     Rodriguez, Louis Andrew Rodriguez and Celestino Rodriguez, all of
     Stanton; grandparents, Louis and Frances Rodriguez of Stanton and
   Filomena Hernandez of Pampa; and great-grand-parents, Janie and Rafael
           Rodriguez of Stanton and Juana Herrera of Big Spring.
                                Vada Rogers
      COMANCHE Vada Rogers, 87, of Odessa, a retired seamstress, died
              Thursday, Nov. 9, 2000, at Seabury Nursing Home.
     Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel.
    Burial will be at Sardis Cemetery. Arrange-ments by Comanche Funeral
                                   Home.
             She was born in Comanche County. She was Baptist.
      SURVIVORS: Daughters, Helen Scott of Clyde and Shirley Luker of
    Odessa; son, Freddie Rogers of Comanche; sisters, Viola Westmoreland
   and Lolita Reed, both of Comanche, and Omega Thomas of Fort Worth; six
               grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 12
                        great-great-grandchild-ren.
                              Helen Verhasselt
    ODESSA Helen Hilburn Verhasselt, 70, of Odessa, retired owner of H&S
   Valve Service, died Friday, Nov. 10, 2000, at Medical Center Hospital.
    Mass will be celebrated at 3 p.m. Monday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton
    Catholic Church with the Rev. Mark Woodruff officiating. Burial will
   be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral
                                 Directors.
   She was born in Lafayette, La., and moved to Odessa from Baton Rouge,
                      La., in 1961. She was Catholic.
   SURVIVORS: Daughters, Carol Hilburn Richter of Corpus Christi and Beth
      Hilburn Littlejohn of Odessa; sisters, Mary Creekie Burk of New
     Orleans and Maxine Mackie Roy of Lafayette; and two grandchildren.
                                Harry Couch
   ODESSA Harry Lee Roy Couch, 79, of Odessa died Friday, Nov. 10, 2000,
                        at Medical Center Hospital.
          Services are pending with Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
                                John Voyles
     ODESSA John Franklin Voyles, 73, of Odessa died Thursday, Nov. 9,
                     2000, at Medical Center Hospital.
           Services are pending with Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
