Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with the Rev. Jerome Burnett officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Reyes-Garcia Funeral Home. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery. Arrangements by Reyes-Garcia Funeral Home. He was born in Pachuca, Mexico, and had been a resident of Midland since 1986. He was Catholic. John Hubnik ODESSA John W. Hubnik, 72, of Odessa, a retired supervisor for Texas Pipe Coating Co., died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2000, at Medical Center Hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the chapel of Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors with the Rev. Wayne Wood officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors. He was born in Harlingen and moved to Odessa in 1956. SURVIVORS: Wife, Fay Hubnik of Odessa; sons, Jimmy McDonald of Liberal, Kans., and Johnnie Hubnik of Odessa; daughters, Maxine Headrick and Lola McDonald, both of Odessa, and Johnnie Kay Rosato of Newark, Penn.; brother, Jody Hubnik of Lone Star; sisters, Toni Vaughn of Hereford, Georgie Switzer of Texas and Marie Hobbs of California; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Van Lanning CRANE Van Lewis Lanning, 85, of Crane, a retired farmer, died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2000, at his residence. He was born in Coleman and had been a resident of Crane since 1976.
