        FORT STOCKTON Maria Fuentez Alvarez, 90, of Fort Stockton, a
         homemaker, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2000, in Fort Stockton.
                                      
    Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Josephs Catholic
   Church with the Rev. David Herrera officiating. Rosary will be said at
    7 p.m. today at the church. Burial will be at St. Josephs Cemetery.
                   Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home.
                                      
                She was born in Marathon. She was Catholic.
                                      
   SURVIVORS: Sons, Joe F. Alvarez of Fort Stockton and Manuel F. Alvarez
   Jr. of Round Rock; daughters, Rosa Carrillo of Carlsbad, N.M., Minnie
          Dominguez of Fort Stockton and Mary Esparza of Plano; 16
                 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

   ODESSA Willie Jones, 72, of Odessa died Monday, Nov. 27, 2000, at his
                                 residence.
                                      
              Services are pending with Martinez Funeral Home.
