       SEMINOLE Frances Mae Allen, 64, of Seminole, a homemaker, died
      Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2000, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.
                                      
   Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Church on the Go with the Rev.
       Tod Delay officiating. Burial will follow at the Gaines County
            Cemetery South. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home.
                                      
    She was born in Detroit and moved to Seminole in 1955 from Kentucky.
                              She was Baptist.
                                      
   SURVIVORS: Husband, Homer Gene Allen of Seminole; son, Bobby Allen of
     Seminole; daughters, Barbara Elliott and Sabrina Braddock, both of
     Seminole; brothers, Davis Greenfield and Carl Greenfield, both of
   Sebril, Ky.; sisters, Buelah Shelton of Sebril, Betty Wilson of Poole,
     Ky., and Sue Montgomery of Wichita Falls; nine grandchildren; and
                         three great-grandchildren.

   ANDREWS Daniel David Davila, 47, of Andrews, a forklift operator, died
     Thursday, Nov. 30, 2000, at Memorial Hospital and Medical Center.
                                      
   Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at United Pentecostal Church with
   the Rev. James Linton officiating. Burial will be at the Andrews North
               Cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
                                      
                He was born in Big Foot. He was Pentecostal.
                                      
    SURVIVORS: Nephew, Joe Davila of Andrews; and nieces, Betty Saldivar
   of San Angelo, Mary Lamb of Lubbock, Margaret Mills, Ida Fierro, Linda
               Rodriquez and Lisa Rodriquez, all of Andrews.
                                      
                               Desma Thompson
                                      
    SEMINOLE Desma Thompson, 83, of Seminole, a retired beautician, died
     Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2000, at Permian General Hospital in Andrews.
                                      
     Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Avenue B Church of
   Christ with Chris Jones, Tommy Roberts and John Thompson officiating.
                   Arrangements by Ratliff Funeral Home.
                                      
    She was born in Red River County. She was a member of the Church of
                                  Christ.
                                      
    SURVIVORS: Husband, M.K. "Ken" Thompson of Seminole; two daughters,
      Ava Skiles of Odessa and Nadine Thomason of Brownfield; brother,
     Reginold Griggs of Manchester; sister, Miram Dale of Blossom; four
               grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

   ODESSA Shirley Cates, 64, of Odessa died Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2000, at
                               her residence.
                                      
           Services are pending with Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
