   PAMPA Shirley "Billie" Dumas, 73, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Friday,
                          Dec. 8, 2000, in Odessa.
                                      
   Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Memory Gardens Cemetery
           with the Rev. John Glover officiating. Arrangements by
                   Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
                                      
   She was born in White Deer and had been a longtime resident of Pampa.
                                      
     SURVIVORS: Son, Gary Dumas of Odessa; daughter, Gloria Holt of New
      Braunfels; sisters, Penny McCormick of Pampa, Carlene Walker of
    Arlington and Dolly Grant of Amarillo; brother, Vaughn Chambliss of
           Florida; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
                                      
                                Joyce Pettit
                                      
   LAKE BROWNWOOD Joyce Pettit, 67, of Lake Brownwood, a retired employee
     of Wyoming National Bank in Casper, Wyo., died Wednesday, Dec. 6,
          2000, at Brownwood Regional Medical Center in Brownwood.
                                      
     Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Lake Brownwood Baptist Church
    with the Rev. Art Switzer officiating. Burial will be at Rocky Creek
    Cemetery in Brown County. Arrangements by Davis-Morris Funeral Home.
                                      
     She was born in Tahoka and had been a resident of Odessa. She was
                                  Baptist.
                                      
   SURVIVORS: Husband, Marion "Bud" Pettit of Lake Brownwood; sons, Lynn
    Pettit of Plano and Mark Pettit of Harlingen; sister, Nell Henderson
   of Lake Brownwood; brother, Clifford Bevers of Prescott Valley, Ariz.;
                            and a granddaughter.
                                      
                               Deborah Turman
                                      
     FORT STOCKTON Deborah A. "Debbie" Turman, 43, of Fort Stockton, a
     retail demo clerk, died Thursday, Dec. 7, 2000, in Fort Stockton.
                                      
   Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Fort Stockton Funeral Home Chapel
   with the Rev. Nathan McBride officiat-ing. Burial will be at East Hill
           Cemetery. Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
                                      
    She was born in Pecos and was a lifelong resident of Fort Stockton.
                              She was Baptist.
                                      
    SURVIVORS: Husband, Matt Turman of Fort Stockton; sons, Tommy Turman
    and Joey Turman, both of Fort Stockton; parents, Fred and Mary Hardy
   of Fort Davis; sister, Cindy Hardy of Van Horn; and grandparents, S.M.
                     and Ethel Caffey of Fort Stockton.

   ODESSA Melvin Earl Harris, 39, of Odessa died Friday, Dec. 8, 2000, at
                               his residence.
                                      
              Services are pending with Martinez Funeral Home.
