January 24, 2000 Permian Basin Obituaries ODESSA — Rob W. Mallow — husband, father, grandfather, loyal friend, mentor and businessman — died Friday, Jan. 21, 2000, at the age of 69. His father, Tex Mallow, mother, Pansy Mallow, and sister, Sue Durham, preceded him in death and he leaves one remaining big sister, Mary Cook of Norman, Okla. He was married to his high school sweetheart, Patsy Hunt, for over 50 years. Both of his children, Gerald and Lynn, adored him, as well as his three grandchildren, Neal, Carly and Olivia. Many others who considered Rob as their father also will grieve his loss. Rob was a kind and gentle man who never raised his voice and always preferred a peaceful approach to all things. He loved people and felt that everyone had something special to contribute. He was a truly positive human being who could make the sun shine on a rainy day with just the twinkle in his eyes. He was a prince and will be dearly missed by all. Thank you, God, for letting us be blessed by his presence. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2000, in the Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Bratcher officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. The famliy suggests memorials be made to Hospice of Odessa. If you wish to make contact with the family, please call Gerald Mallow at 664-4875. _________________________________________________________________ ODESSA — Services for Lois Maxwell, 85, of Odessa will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Eisenhower Church of Christ with Burt Groves officiating.
