    ODESSA — Francis McKee was born Nov. 30, 1925, in Boone County,
     Iowa, to Carroll and Grace Karnes McKee. He passed away Wednesday,
                          Feb. 9, 2000, in Odessa.
                                      
      Services are scheduled for 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11, 2000, at St.
    John’s Episcopal Church with Rev. Laura Deaderick officiating.
               Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
                                      
   Mr. McKee served in the Army Air Force during World War II. He served
    as a B-17 aircrew member in the 8th Air Force, 748th Bomber Squadron
      and the 457th Bomb Group. He was honorably discharged as a staff
    sergeant. After the war, he married Jacque Driscoll on June 1, 1955,
    in Gallipolis, Ohio. They came to Odessa in 1960. He worked as vice
     president for a division of Refchem from 1960 to 1973. In 1973 he
   moved to Houston and worked for Universal Maintenance Construction Co.
                         as its accounting manager.
                                      
                     His sister preceded him in death.
                                      
    Survivors include his daughters, Julie McKee and Laura Doenz and her
      husband, Monte, all of Odessa; brother, William Carroll McKee of
      Denver; and one granddaughter, Casey Michelle Mohler of Odessa.
                                      
        Services are under the care of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
