February 17, 2000 Permian Basin Obituaries _________________________________________________________________ Maxine M. Clarkson ODESSA — Maxine M. Clarkson, 89, of Odessa died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2000, at Parks Methodist Retirement Village. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Robert L. Bratcher officiating. She was born Jan. 29, 1911, in Roscoe. She married Jess Hunter Clarkson Sept. 5, 1936, in Plainview. He preceded her in death Aug. 27, 1990. Mrs. Clarkson moved to Odessa in 1952 from Las Cruces, N.M. She was a homemaker and a member of Dorado Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughters, Anita Daniel and Billie Maure, both of Odessa; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Services entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. _________________________________________________________________ William "Bobb" Gregory ODESSA — William "Bobb" Gregory, 39, of Irving died Monday, Feb. 14, 2000, at Medical Center Hospital. Memorial services will be at noon today at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel. He was born Nov. 1, 1960, in Odessa. Mr. Gregory was a former resident of Odessa. He worked in the computer field. Survivors include his life partner, Raymond A. Stevens of Irving; parents, William A. and Wanda Gregory of Odessa; brother, Ted Allen Gregory of Sand Springs, Okla.; sister, K. Sue Redman of Scottsdale, Ariz. The family suggests memorials to the Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals or your favorite charity.
