February 22, 2000 Permian Basin Obituaries _________________________________________________________________ ODESSA — Peggy Jo Hewitt Burleson, 61, of Odessa died Monday, Feb. 21, 2000, at Medical Center Hospital. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Sunset Heights Baptist Church with the Rev. Jess Little officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. She was born Dec. 13, 1938, in Anson. Mrs. Hewitt moved to Odessa in 1955 from Snyder. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. Survivors include her sons, Glenn Rich of Odessa, Monty Greathouse of San Angelo and Billy Greathouse of Odessa; daughters, Debbie Dunagin of Odessa, Sharon Tidwell of Odessa, Dee Dee Foreman of Odessa and Daphne Anderson of Sulphur Springs; 15 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Services are entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. _________________________________________________________________ Robbie Lee Feeler ODESSA — Robbie Lee Feeler, 48, died Friday, Feb. 18, 2000, in Midland. Graveside services are scheduled for 3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, 2000, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Jimmy Dennis officiating. Services are under the care of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Mr. Feeler was born June 28, 1951, to Johnnie and Gloria Feeler, in Odessa, and has been a longtime resident. He was a Mason, and a member of the Local 798 Pipeliner Union. His parents, Johnnie and Gloria Feeler; a stepbrother, Randy Ford; and a sister, Debbie Boydstun, preceded him in death. Survivors include sons, Chad Feeler and Nick Bethune, both of Odessa, and Tanner Feeler, of Heber Springs, Ark.; daughter, Carrie Feeler of Heber Springs, Ark.; stepmother, Earlene Feeler of Lufkin; grandmother, Annis Doolen of Crane; brother, Johnnie Feeler of Crane; stepbrother, Ricky Ford of Lufkin; half brother, Terry Dean Feeler of El Paso; sisters, Tina Patz of Lewisville and Tammi Feeler, of Odessa; and several nieces and nephews. _________________________________________________________________ ODESSA — Ricky Lee Burt, 15, of Wichita Falls died Saturday, Feb. 19, 2000, in Wichita Falls. Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Weeks Dubose officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. He was born April 13, 1984, in Odessa and was a former resident of Odessa. He was a sophomore and played football for Hirschi High School in Wichita Falls. He was Baptist. Survivors include his parents, Laura and Tom Duffy of Wichita Falls; sister, Brittany Jo Williams of Wichita Falls; grandparents, Darlene Garrett of Odessa and Ron Naumcheff of Oregon; great-grandmothers; Ola Irene Kowacich of Odessa and Mina Roberts of Mathis; uncle, David Randal Garrett of Odessa; and numerous other family and friends, from Odessa and Wichita Falls, who loved him very much. Services are entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. _________________________________________________________________ ODESSA — Myrtle Louise Helt, 84, our beloved mother and grandmother, went to be with the Lord Sunday, Feb. 20, 2000. The family will be at 3822 Melody Lane. The family will meet with friends at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Johnny Dickerson officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park in Midland. She was born Jan. 3, 1916, in Nowata, Okla. Mrs. Helt moved to Odessa in the 1970’s from Aniheim, Calif. She had worked in a dry cleaners. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Helt; parents; 10 brothers and sisters. Survivors include her daughter, Ella Mae Thames of Odessa; son, Paul Privette of Gladstone, Mo.; sisters, Wilma Leviskie of Red Bluff, Calif., Thelma Hatfield of Whittier, Calif.; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials to Crescent Park Baptist Church Music Ministry.
