February 23, 2000 Permian Basin Obituaries _________________________________________________________________ ODESSA — Ricky Lee Burt, 15, of Wichita Falls, died Saturday, Feb. 19, 2000, in Wichita Falls. Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Weeks Dubose officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. He was born April 13, 1984, in Odessa and was a former resident of Odessa. He was a sophomore and played football for Hirschi High School in Wichita Falls. He was Baptist. Survivors include his parents, Laura and Tom Duffy of Wichita Falls; sister, Brittany Jo Williams of Wichita Falls; grandparents, Darlene Garrett of Odessa and Ron Naumcheff of Oregon; great-grandmothers, Ola Irene Kowacich of Odessa and Mina Roberts of Mathis; uncle, David Randal Garrett of Odessa; and numerous other family and friends from Odessa and Wichita Falls, who loved him very much. Services are entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. _________________________________________________________________ Sarah Myrtle Woodard Luse ODESSA — Sarah Myrtle Woodard Luse, 96, passed from this life Monday, Feb. 21, 2000, at Parks Methodist Retirement Village in Odessa. She was born Feb. 13, 1904, in Utopia to A.J. and Agnes Woodard. She was a Christian, lifelong Bible student and member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Uvalde. She was predeceased by her parents, four brothers, three sisters; and her husband, Dick S. Luse in 1975. She is survived by her son, Travis E. Alley; two grandsons, Richard Alley and John Alley; several great-grandchildren; several nephews and nieces, including Randy Gibson and wife, Audry, of Odessa. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at San Jose Burial Park in San Antonio.
