She was born March 5, 1924, in Alpine. Upon her retiring she was employed with Dr. Curry’s office for 20 years. Mrs. Gonzales was preceded in death by her parents, Maximo and Eduviges Gonzales; sisters, Constanza Acosta and Isabel Gonzales. She is survived by her longtime friend, Anastacio Sanchez of Odessa; son, David Gonzales and wife, Pricilla, of Fort Worth; brothers, Elisco "Smokey" Gonzales and Pedro "Pete" Martinez of El Paso; sisters, Librada Sanchez of Midland, Rosa Maria Gomez of Mendota, Calif.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A rosary and a prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2000, at Odessa Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Gilbert Rodriguez officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be members of the family. Memorials suggested to Community Care Hospice of Odessa. Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel with Samuel Emiliano officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel. She was born in San Antonio Del Bravo, Chihuahua, Mexico. Preceded in death by her parents, Francisco Prieto Martinez and Josefa Tarango Martinez; brother, Ruben T. Martinez. Survivors include her husband, Guadalupe Palma of Odessa; son, Jose Alfredo Palma of Odessa; daughters, Margarita Evelia Palma, Maria Estella Palma and Gloria Esther Barron, all of Odessa; brother, Felix T. Martinez of Odessa; sisters, Lucia M. Boy and Maria Estela Carranza, both of Odessa. She was the loving grandmother "Mimo" of Alexandra Marrufo, Xavier Marrufo, Angelica Palma and Adrian E. Scott ODESSA — Thomas D. "T.D." Scott, 85, of Odessa died Sunday, April 16, 2000, at his residence. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Raymond Bugg officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. He was born May 31, 1914, in Wilson, Okla. He married Wanda V. Tedford Sept. 20, 1960, in Odessa. Mr. Scott moved to Odessa in 1956 from San Angelo. He retired from Loffland Brothers Drilling Co. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Wanda V. Scott of Odessa; daughter, Tommye L. Scott Earhart of Aiken, S.C.; sister, Dovie Scott Wells of Ardmore, Okla.; two grandchildren, Larry J. Earhart Jr. of Houston and Denise A. Snyder of Aiken, S.C.; and three great-grandchildren, Kristin, Sara and Natalie Snyder of Aiken, S.C.
