Amber was a 10th-grader at Midland High School. She died Tuesday, April l8, 2000, at a Dallas hospital. Amber was preceded in death by her brother, Claude Spindle, Jan. 24, 1999. She is survived by her parents, Charles and Shannon Spindle of Midland; her sisters, Jessica Hernandez of Dallas, Misty Dunn of El Paso, Davina Murdock, Bambi Murdock and Dorothy Murdock, all of Midland; her grandmothers, Eloise Spindle of Albuquerque and Donna Rymer of San Angelo. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Ellis Funeral Home. Funeral services have been scheduled for I0 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Bob Hopkins officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home. "Cheezy" Moore ODESSA — Norman A. "Cheezy" Moore, 77, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2000, at Medical Center Hospital. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, April 21, 2000, at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Ronnie Newton, Pastor of Wesley Evangelical Methodist Church, officiating, assisted by Rev. Steve Trout, Pastor of First United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Norman "Cheezy" Moore was born Oct. 22, 1921, in Gordon to Judge J A. and Zelma Moore. As a young child he moved to Odessa where he resided until his death. He was a pilot in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He spent his entire business life in the oil industry in Odessa and retired as an Executive Sales Manager for W. R. Grace Drilling. He was an avid sportsman who loved fishing, hunting, golf and the outdoors. He had been a member of First United Methodist Church since 1934. He was also a member of the Chamber of Commerce, V.F.W., American Legion, Masonic Lodge, Toastmasters, Odessa Country Club and past president of the Broncho Booster Club. He was admired by many and will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Ann Arledge Moore, in February, 1986, and has been married to Alice Anderson Moore since November, 1994. Survivors are his wife, Alice Moore of Odessa; son, David Moore and wife, Linda, of Fort Worth; daughter, Candy Homsey and husband, Lynn, of Odessa; stepdaughter, Linda Burdic and husband, Jack, of Odessa; five grandchildren, Christi, Brandon and Cameron Moore, all of Fort Worth, Gary Homsey and wife, Becky, and David Homsey, all of Odessa; two great-grandchildren, Trinity and Kendal Homsey of Odessa; stepgrandchildren, Marta Metcalf of Oklahoma and Jay Metcalf of Tennessee. Active pallbearers, Dan Wilson, J.B. Copeland, Don Ormand, J.C. Foster, Jack Tidwell and Larry Bradley. Honorary pallbearers will be the five grandsons. The family suggests memorials be made to the charity of your choice, Wesley Evangelical Methodist Church or the First United Methodist Church.
