July 02, 2000 Permian Basin Obituaries _________________________________________________________________ ODESSA Louis Y. "Bichy Bee" Ramirez, 64, passed away on June 30, 2000, at his Odessa residence. He was born May 26, 1936, in Big Spring. Mr. Ramirez was a self-employed baker and a member of Victory of Life Church. He is survived by sons, Louis Ramirez Jr. of Odessa, David Ramirez of Rosharon and Manuel Ramirez of Odessa; daughters, Adela Ramirez and Elizabeth Ramirez, both of Odessa; brothers, Manuel Ramirez and Jose Ramirez, both of Denver; sisters, Maria Paredes of Denver and Jessie Noveron of McCamey; and ten grandchildren. Visitation will begin at noon Monday at Odessa Funeral Home. Prayer services will be at 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services have been set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Templo Buenas Nuevas, located at Fifth Street and Vine Avenue, with the Revs. Rosario Hill and Albert Flores officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris Lujan, Eli Lujan, Louie Ramirez, Roddy Munoz, Arturo Alvarez and Pete Morales. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home. The family of Mr. Ramirez would like to give a special thanks to Gary, Jimmy, Ronda, Karen and all of Home Hospice Odessa. _________________________________________________________________ ODESSA Services for Francis LaJuana "Sunny" Deavenport, 80, of Odessa are scheduled to be at 4 p.m. Monday at Christ Lutheran Church with the Rev. Ron Rennegarbe officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Restlawn Memorial Park in Hereford, Texas. Mrs. Deavenport died Thursday, June 29, 2000, in Odessa. She was born Sept. 15, 1919, in Wellington. She married Joe Hubert Deavenport on Oct. 11, 1946, in Slaton. He died Jan. 11, 1975. Mrs. Deavenport moved to Odessa in 1992 from Hereford. She was a retired seamstress and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Hereford. Survivors include: Son, Jeff Deavenport of Broken Arrow, Okla.; daughter, Jo Frances Deavenport Boring of Odessa; sister, Jetta Breith of Midland; eight grandchildren, Carmen A. Low, Zeb M. Foster, Amber L. Boring, Jesse A. Boring, Jeremy T. Deavenport, Shana Deavenport, Jeffery Deavenport and Stefani Deavenport; and one great-granddaughter, Sarah Jo Low. The family suggests memorials be made to the Hospice House Foundation Inc., care of Hilton Chancellor, 903 N.
