July 16, 2000 Permian Basin Obituaries _________________________________________________________________ Jean Hudson Page, 75, of Odessa joined her savior, Jesus Christ on July 15, 2000. Jean was born to Arch and Emma Elizabeth Yates in Ovalo. She was preceded in death by her first husband, J. D. Hudson in 1974, their infant daughter, Cleda Pauline in 1942, and her late husband, Marvin L. Page in 1994. She is survived by her children, Linda Nash of Odessa, Michael Scott Hudson and his wife, Evie, of Lewisville, and Rick Page of San Antonio. She also leaves her granddaughters, Judy Hudson of Odessa and Yeni Hudson of Lewisville; great-granddaughter, Page Holley of Odessa; nephew Kent Yates of Champaign, Ill; nieces Janelle and Diana Yates of New York City, and faithful dog, Sugar, of the family home. Jean also was the sister of the late Wayland Yates of San Angelo. Jean moved to Odessa in 1955 and was a bookkeeping supervisor for Sears for 23 years. Her large circle of friends included, among others, her loving neighbors, her fellow bowlers, domino players and church members. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, July 17, 2000, at Immanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Frank W.
