August 26, 2000 Permian Basin Obituaries _________________________________________________________________ Arthur E. Bradshaw McCAMEY Arthur E. Bradshaw, 86, of McCamey, died Friday, Aug. 25, 2000, at Memorial Hospital and Medical Center in Midland. A celebration of his life service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 27, 2000, at First Baptist Church of McCamey with the Revs. Paul Evans and Brian Crittendon officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery. Arthur was born Aug. 20, 1914, in Eastland County to Ralph and Lenora Bradshaw. He was the third oldest of six children. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Ed Bradshaw and J.C. Bradshaw, and a sister Bernice Buckbee. In 1935, he married Lottie Bennett and celebrated 65 years of marriage May 11. In 1936, Arthur, Lottie and daughter, Willadean, moved to McCamey where Arthur worked as a pumper in the oilfield. In 1945, Arthur and his brother, Rankin, formed Bradshaw Oil Well Service, which operated until 1983. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and served on the board of the McCamey Independent School District for 16 years. He also served on the Upton County Appraisal Board for 12 years. Arthur will be remembered for always having the courage to do the right thing. His many friendships and the love he had for his family serve as a great testimonial of his life. He will always be a beacon that will shine bright in the hearts of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mr. Bradshaw is survived by his wife, Lottie Bradshaw; daughter, Dean Bolen and husband, Carrol, of McCamey; four grandchildren, Kyle Bolen and wife, Velinda, Leland Bolen and wife, Katie; Brad Bolen and wife, Cindy, and Lynette Watson and husband, Greg; 10 great-grandchildren, Cymber and Bryne Bolen, Rowdy, Chancy, Cherokee and Golden Bolen, Jessica and Pate Bolen and Gentry and Tyler Watson; brother, Rankin Bradshaw and wife, Marzell, of Eastland; sisters, Eunice Garverick of Las Cruces, N.M., and Flora Mae Hoffer of Readings, Pa.; brother-in-law, Lee Shipman of Stephenville; and several nieces and nephews. Box Funeral Home of McCamey. _________________________________________________________________ Jodell Hannah BRECKENRIDGE Jodell Hannah, 53, of Breckenridge passed away August 24, 2000 at Palo Pinto Memorial Hospital in Mineral Wells. Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Morehart Mortuary in Breckenridge. Mr. Hannah was born June 1, 1947, in Archer City and grew up in Pecos. He was a Vietnam veteran having served on the U.S.S. Constellation in the Navy from 1964 to 1968. He retired in 1998 from Dynegy in Oklahoma City where he was an operations manager of crude oil trucking. Mr. Hannah loved to hunt and fish. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bobbie Young, and brother, Radell Hannah. He is survived by his wife, Rayma, whom he married Aug. 10, 1968. Other survivors include his daughter, Casey Hannah of Oklahoma City; son, John Hannah and his wife, Angela, of Oklahoma City; his father, Odell Hannah of Waxahachie; grandson, Nicholas Hannah of Oklahoma City; sisters, Donna Woodard and her husband, Lessie, of Pecos and Debbie Rater and her husband, Jerreld, of Antelope; nephews, Michael Woodard and his wife, Ireta, of Sundown and Toby Rater of Wichita Falls; nieces, Leslie Gray and her husband, Rusty, of Monahans and Jodi Youngblood and her husband, Shane, of Wink; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Danny Dunaway of Odessa, Shane Youngblood of Wink, Curt Lemons of Gardendale, Michael Woodard of Sundown, Rusty Gray of Monahans, Herschel Hancock of Breckenridge, Brian Griffith and Tommy Berkley, both of Breckenridge.
