Leo F. Blythe

   ODESSA  Leo  F.  Blythe,  76, of Odessa died Oct. 5, 2000 in Tel Aviv,
   Israel.  He  was  born  Aug.  17,  1924,  in Fisher County. He married
   Elizabeth  Wallis  June  14, 1952, in Abilene and they moved to Odessa
   from Sweetwater in 1954.
   
   He  was  a  U.S. Air Force veteran and had been associated with French
   Tool  and  Supply  and later with B-Line Filter Company at the time of
   his death.
   
   He  was  a  deacon  and  the  Sunday  school director at Crescent Park
   Baptist  Church  and a member of the Odessa Downtown Lions Club, where
   he was chaplain and a past district governor. He was also a Gideon.
   
   He  was  preceded  in  death  by  his  daughter,  Lisa Blythe; and his
   parents,  James and Alma Blythe. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth
   of Odessa; brother, Boyd Blythe; sisters, Norene Chism, Jimmie Bennett
   and Peggy Hall.
   
   Funeral  services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 16, 2000, at Crescent
   Park  Baptist  Church  with the Rev. Dr. Johnny Dickerson officiating.
   Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Frank W.
   Wilson Funeral Directors.
