October 28, 2000 Permian Basin Obituaries Obituaries Index Home _________________________________________________________________ Audrey Marie Taylor ODESSA Services for Audrey Marie Taylor, 74, of San Angelo are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 30, 2000, at First Church of God with the Revs. Martin Kehler and Paul Jones officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will meet with friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today and from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Mrs. Taylor died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2000, at San Angelo Community Medical Center in San Angelo. She was born Jan. 30, 1926, in Bristow, Okla. She married Ralph C. Taylor on March 9, 1951, in Odessa. He died Jan. 5, 2000. Mrs. Taylor was a longtime resident of Odessa. She graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in industrial architecture. She designed airplanes for Lockheed during World War II. She was past vice president of ATCO and a founding member of the First Church of God in Odessa. Audrey loved to read her Bible, listen to gospel music and play board games with her family. She will be missed by all her family and friends. Survivors include her sisters, Juanita Elrod of Crestview, Fla., and Cindy Tyler of Odessa; brother, Royce McCray of Clovis, Calif.; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family suggests memorials to First Church of God of Odessa and Mid-America Bible College. Pallbearers will be John Harrington, Troy Chesnut, James Elrod, Bill Tyler, Ben Trowbridge, Ronnie D. Neal, Jimmy Rose and John McCray. Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Moad, Carl Eggleston, Ira Bownds and Vic Justis.
