                             Panfilo Garza Jr.
                                      
     LAMESA Panfilo Garza Jr., 38, of Odessa, an oilfield worker, died
             Monday, Jan. 1, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.
                                      
   Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. today at St. Margaret Mary Catholic
   Church with the Rev. Martin Pina officiating. Burial will be at Lamesa
               Cemetery. Arrangements by Branon Funeral Home.
                                      
                 He was born in ODonnell. He was Catholic.
                                      
   SURVIVORS: Father, Panfilo Garza Sr. of Lamesa; mother, Mary Garza of
   Lamesa; sisters, Beatrice Garza and Maria Leonor, both of Midland; and
    brothers, Fred Garza and Robert Garza, both of Odessa, Joe Garza of
                      Midland and Ray Garza of Lamesa.
