   CARRIZOZO, N.M. Ruth Armstrong, 83, of Carrizozo, N.M., a retired real
      estate agent, died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2001, in Albuquerque, N.M.
    Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church with
     the Rev. Hayden Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarvale
     Cemetery. Arrangements by LaGrone Funeral Chapel in Ruidoso, N.M.
                 She was born in Matador. She was Baptist.
    SURVIVORS: Sons, John Armstrong of Santa Fe, N.M., Dan Armstrong and
       Gary Armstrong, both of Albuquerque; daughter, Virginia Ginger
   Morrison of Albuquerque; sisters, Ruby Goates of Odessa, Lorene Sands
    of Plainview, Dorothy Powell of Midland and Betty Martin of Lubbock;
                           and 10 grand-children.
                               Adan Gonzales
    FORT STOCKTON Adan Benavides Gonzales, 59, of Fort Stockton, a plant
         operator, died Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2001, in Fort Stockton.
     Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic
      Church with the Revs. David Herrera and Joe Vasquez officiating.
     Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Friday at Fort Stockton Funeral Home
    Chapel. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Arrange-ments by Fort
                           Stockton Funeral Home.
      He was born in Fort Stockton and had been a resident of Paceda,
      Calif., before moving to Fort Stockton in 1974. He was Catholic.
    SURVIVORS: Wife, Julie Gonzales of Fort Stockton; daughters, Cynthia
   Gonzales of Oakland, Calif., Dolores G. Garcia of Lyford, Calif., and
    Sylvia G. Lozano of Fort Stockton; mother, Irene Gonzales of Canoga
    Park, Calif.; brothers, Ralph Gonzales of Oxnard, Calif., and Ruben
    Gonzales of Canoga Park; sister, Rosa Acosta of North Hill, Calif.;
                          and five grandchildren.
                                      
                               Mark Guerrero
      ALPINE Mark Anthony Guerrero, 33, of Alpine, a businessman, died
                 Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2001, in Tucson, Ariz.
   Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at Our Lady of Peace Catholic
     Church with the Rev. Rick Ruiz officiating. Burial will be at Holy
          Angels Cemetery. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home.
             He was born in San Jose, Calif. He was Christian.
    SURVIVORS: Wife, Gabriela L. Guerrero of Tucson; son, Esai Alexander
     Guerrero of Tucson; daughter, Ashley Michelle Guerrero of Tucson;
    parents, Juan Antonio Guerrero of Tucson; brothers, Roy Gallego and
    Michael Castillo, both of Tucson, Felix Castillo of Louisville, Ky.,
      Jose Concepcion Guerrero and Juan Antonio Guerrero Jr., both of
    Monclova; sisters, Maria Banks of Phoenix and Lynda Guerrero of San
     Jose; and grandparents, Ernesto Gallego and Emilia Garcia, both of
                             Monclova, Mexico.
                               Annetta Heinen
    FORT STOCKTON Annetta Joyce Heinen, 75, of Fort Stockton, a retired
         beautician, died Monday, Jan. 8, 2001, in Corpus Christi.
   Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church
    with the Rev. David Herrera officiating. Burial will be at East Hill
              Cemetery. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home.
               She was born in Balmorhea. She was Christian.
   SURVIVORS: Daughters, Ann Martinez of Hurley, N.M., Lita Robertson of
      Fort Stockton, Charlie Joplin and Cheryl Murray, both of Odessa;
   brother, George Jones of Alpine; sisters, H.W. Jones of San Angelo and
          Joan Cockerell of Tom Bean; eight grandchildren; and 17
                            great-grandchildren.
                                James Pearcy
    ODESSA James Pearcy, 75, of Odessa died Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2001, at
                         Odessa Regional Hospital.
          Services are pending with Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
