   MIDLAND George Stanley "Stan" Boswell, 39, of Midland, died Friday,
   Feb. 9, 2001, at a Midland nursing home.
   
   Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Anns Catholic Church
   with Monsignor Timothy Murphy officiating. Arrangements by Stanton
   Memorial Funeral Home and Chapel.
   
   Mr. Boswell was born Nov. 25, 1961, in Roswell, N.M.
   
   SURVIVORS: Wife, Palma Maria Boswell of Durham, N.C.; sons, Michael
   Anthony, Thomas Andrew and Jonathan Bryan, all of Midland; parents,
   Mary Rae and Ellsworth Boswell of Midland; sister, Rosilynn Suzanne
   "Susie" Boswell of Midland; brothers, John Adam Boswell of Midland;
   Thomas Patrick Boswell of Comfort; and Paul Michael Boswell of Dallas;
   sister, Annette Marie Hall and husband, Nelson Hall II, of Bedford.
   
   
   
   Fanny Ruth Gandy Carnes
   
   ABILENE Fanny Ruth Gandy Carnes, 92, of Abilene, died Saturday, Feb.
   10, 2001, at a local nursing home.
   
   Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Sunset Memorial
   Gardens, Odessa. Arrangements by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Homes.
   
   Mrs. Garnes was born in Floresville and was an elementary school
   teacher in Odessa and McCamey.
   
   She was Baptist.
   
   SURVIVORS: Stepsons, Wayne Carnes of Odessa, and Eddie W. Carnes of
   Seminole; stepdaughters, Betty David and Peggy McComas, both of
   Odessa; nine nieces and nephews; and twelve step-grandchildren.
   
   
   
   Gregorio Gabaldon
   
   PECOS Gregorio Gabaldon, 70, of Pecos, a retired laborer, died Friday,
   Feb. 9, 2001, at Reeves County Hospital.
   
   Mass will be held Monday, Feb. 12, 2001, in Las Colinas, Chihuahua,
   Mexico.
   
   He was born March 12, 1930, in Cuchillo Parado, Mexico.
   
   He was Catholic.
   
   SURVIVORS: Wife, Carmen Gabaldon of Pecos; sons, Miguel, Gregorio and
   Alfonso Gabaldon, all of Pecos; daughters, Mary Lou Gabaldon and
   Margarita de Anda, both of Odessa; Elvira Aguilar of Pecos; and
   Michele Gabaldon of Pecos; brothers, Nolberto, Lino and Teofilo
   Gabaldon, all of Pecos; sister, Natalia Villalobos; and 10
   grandchildren.
   
   
   
   Isabel Urias Garcia
   
   FORT STOCKTON Isabel Urias Garcia of Fort Stockton, a homemaker, died
   Friday, Feb. 9, 2001, at Pecos County Memorial Hospital.
   
   Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at St. Josephs Catholic Church. Mass
   will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 12, 2001, at St. Josephs Catholic
   Church with the Rev. Rodney White officiating. Burial will follow at
   St. Josephs Cemetery. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home, Fort
   Stockton.
   
   She was Catholic.
   
   SURVIVORS: Son, Pedro Garcia Ortega of Abilene; daughters, Andrea
   Garcia Ramirez and Victoria Garcia Martinez, both of Fort Stockton;
   brother, Marcelo Jaquez Urias of Eloy, Ariz.; nine grandchildren; 13
   great-grandchildren; and eight great-great granchildren.
   
   
   
   Samuel Cortinas Ramirez
   
   ODESSASamuel Cortinas Ramirez, 67, of Odessa, shoemaker, died Feb. 8,
   2001 at Medical Center Hospital.
   
   Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in
   Odessa with the Rev. Juan Gaona and the Rev. Joel Amaro officiating.
   Interment will follow at Ector County Cemetery. Arrangements by
   Martinez Funeral Home.
   
   He was born Oct. 14, 1937 in Juarez, Mexico.
   
   He was a Baptist.
   
   SURVIVORS: Wife, Irene Ramirez of Odessa; sons, Samuel A. Ramirez, Jr.
   of Odessa, Hector Ramirez of Odessa, Enrique Ramirez of Los Angeles,
   M. Jaime Ramirez of El Paso, Alvaro Ramirez of Odessa, and F. Elias
   Ramirez of Odessa; daughters, Maria L. Roman of Odessa, Delia Ramirez
   of Oakland, Calif.; brother, David Ramirez of Los Angeles; and
   sisters, Eva Ramirez of Odessa, and Chavela Vanzuela of Salt Lake
