      ALPINE Eldifonso "Poncho" Garcia, 79, of Alpine, a retired truck
          driver, died Saturday, Feb. 24, 2001, at his residence.
                                      
   Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at Our Lady of Peace Catholic
   Church with the Rev. Rick Ruiz officiating. Burial will follow at Holy
           Angels Cemetery. Arrangements by Geeslin Funeral Home.
                                      
                 He was born in San Jose. He was Catholic.
                                      
   SURVIVORS: Wife, Ernesta Garcia of Alpine; daughters, Tina Losoya and
      Elodia Garcia, both of Alpine, Elia Gonzales of Presidio and Eva
   Arriola of Pecos; sons, Eddie Garcia of Del Rio and Poncho Garcia Jr.
      of El Paso; sisters, Gloria Martinez of Odessa, Isodora Tarin of
    Presidio, Anita Carrasco of Ojinaga, Mexico, and Elisa Valenzuela of
   Andrews; brothers, Manuel Garcia of Pecos and Mercedes Garcia of Fort
        Stockton; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
                                      
                              Shirley Huffaker
                                      
   ODESSA Shirley Ann Huffaker, 65, of Odessa, owner of the Homestead Tea
      Room and the Teachers Market, died Friday, Feb. 23, 2001, at her
                                 residence.
                                      
   Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel
   with Danny Batchlor officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral
                                   Home.
                                      
                           She was born in Waco.
                                      
     SURVIVORS: Husband, Neal Huffaker of Odessa; son, Mike Huffaker of
    Spearman; daughters, Holly Spoonemore of Bellevue, Wash., and Robin
   Lyn Huffaker of Austin; brother, John Du Priest of Penryn, Calif.; and
                            four grandchildren.
                                      
                               Gerald Reaves
                                      
    ODESSA Gerald Wayne Reaves, 70, of Odessa, a self-employed laborer,
          died Sunday, Feb. 25, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.
                                      
   Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens
         with the Rev. Laura Deaderick officiating. Arrangements by
                        Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
                                      
       He was born in Chickasha, Okla. He was an Army veteran. He was
                                Pentecostal.
                                      
   SURVIVORS: Son, Tony Wayne Reaves of Mississippi; brother, Don Reaves
                    of Odessa; and three grandchildren.
